Default Should I shouldn't I ?

I live in BC.. Canada (west coast) and have a new to me 87 xj12. It snows occasionally and they do salt the road but then we'll have a few days of rain and the temperature will get up to 5 to 7 (C) which is the normal range here in Vancouver.
Many of you seem to put your cars to bed for the winter but it doesn't seem necessary in this climate.. obviously I wouldn't drive on a road until the salt has been washed away but I'd be interested in comments. Should I leave her in the garage until April or drive on through the winter ?

Might as well enjoy it, but there will probably be a little salt spray that might coat it if you drive when it's wet. Make sure to rustproof it and wash it thoroughly on a regular basis.

And of course... pics please!
