Afternoon all, I’ve got a query on spark plug thread size. All the plugs I’ve seen recommended show as having a14mm x1.25 thread. Ie metric. Is this correct for a series 1 7l engine? I thought it would have an imperialthread. Thanks for any assistance in advance.

 

Spark plugs of our lifetime have been metric threaded.

Nver bothered as to why, just lived with it.

All but very old fords. Pipe thread. 3/4' I think. I have a set of four in memoobilia!!!
