In fact I think it is a Daimler XJ!

My mistake. There were other Convertibles, but I believe the Corsica was the only one made by Jaguar!

The Corsica was a mock up, not an actual running car; and it was done by Jaguar's prototype/styling (or whatever it is called) workshop. Years ago the JEC's resident Xj guru, David Marks, actually was sent it by Jaguar and made it into a fully running car with everything working. It was written up in the JEC mag, wherein someone who wants to take the trouble can find it in their archives.

Perhaps the title of this thread needs to be "only X300". Please see the 2.8L XJ6 that was converted for the visit of the Queen of Mauritius.

I saw it at David Marks when he was making it into a running car. He did a huge amount of excellent work and deserves a lot of credit.
