Having trouble sourcing brushes for Lucas 3M100 starter, fitted to XJ6 Ser. II

Tried Jag heritage with no joy. Nothing on e-bay. SNG Barrat cannot supply.

Any leads appreciated.

Here in Amurica just about every town with more than 50 people has a starter-alternator rebuilding specialist. I suspect the same in your neck o' the woods. I'll wager they can fix you up very easily. These outfits, being in the industry, have suppliers that don't normally advertise or sell to the general public.

I will try the local battery suppliers who usually have resident auto gaffers on site. It never occurred to me batteries, starters & alternators are all in the same incestuous family!!!
