Strange occurrence

Weird electrical occurrences like that are often a result of a poor ground....somewhere.That wouldn't account for loss of power assist on the brakes, though.
What year and model, exactly?

It is a 1984 Jaguar XJ6 it is the heater fan motor that runs as long as the brake is pressed. My E-mail is mrpbp@swbell.net fell free to use it if it is easier for you to respond.Is there some sound that I should be looking for, everything seems to be grounded proper.
