Stuck n Hood

New bonnet, fitted nicely and fairly level, BUT now wont open, left side has jammed I assume at the release spring/pylon. right side releases cleanly.

so how can I free the beast>

Heap of forward to back wiggling got it free. Not sure exactly what that means for the latch and hinges but will read item posted above and see.
