Hello,
I have reinstalled my sunroof after repairs but it doesn't close full as it was originally, it end about an an inch gap space, did it do something wrong and how do I set it to close fully please?
Thanks
Mike

remove the rear Seat and Back,
remove the center cover over the motor gear and remove the cables from the gear, ( first MARK the cables with "Top" and "Bottom").
push the sunroof manually to its fully closed position as tight as you can,
replace the cables over the gear and replace the gear cover,
start and run engine while you test the movements of opening and closing.
If no cigar, repeat until success.

Hi Mike,
I recently had the sunroof off myself and had to go though the process of setting it up properly.
If it was closing before, and it isn't now, then my guess is that you can probably fix it without removing the rear seats. Funnily enough, I found myself scratching my head when mine was about an inch off, only to discover that I hadn't pulled the outer piece far enough forward when attaching the screws at the front to connect the inner and outer pieces together. Also, there are some "ramps" that lift the rear of the sunroof, if these were accidentally moved towards the rear of the car, the sunroof rear will lift too early and jam against the roof, making it impossible to close the sunroof fully.
Failing these checks, might then be worth removing the rear seats. But like I said, if it closed before and doesn't now, it would seem that you should be able to fix it without doing that.
