Default Testing LED Headlamp with DRLs

I went to my favorite JY in Orlando, Florida and found a pair of 7inch LED Headlamps with DRLs. At $20 each I could not pass up the opportunity as if they did not work I could return them and get a credit voucher for the cost. The headlamps are Morimoto 5500K and looked newly installed prior to the car being rear-ended.
When I got home I tested them and they work.
The headlamp has a 3 pin plug that connects directly to the Jaguar headlamp connector and a separate wire for the DRLs.
I installed the headlamps on the Jag with no modifications to the headlamp assembly and through the OEM Hella headlamp relay, I have both high and low beams functioning.
I installed a separate relay for the DRLs and presently I am using the charging bulb wire off the alternator as the trigger for the DRLs.
The DRLs now function only when the engine is running.
Here is the tentative

plan:
1. Do some research and purchase a matching pair of 5 3/4 inch LED lamps and wire them up for high beam only. The ones available have both high and low beam features. If that can't be done, I can wire it up so I will have 4 low beams and 4 high beams. I know I can wire the 5 3/4 headlamp for high beam only. I t would just mean that I will have 2 wires going to the inner headlamps just as it is with the OEM wiring.
2. Install new wiring with 4 relays. 2 for High and 2 for low.
3. Find a way to wire the DRLs via a microswitch on the gear lever so the DRLs come on only when the car is in "drive"
Any advice will be appreciated

Looks good.
I nearly went the full LED route, But opted for Halogens mains and LED halo's. My 53/4 also have main and dip.
Looking forward to seeing yours with all 4 swapped.

Similar to mine, Halogen high and low beams off the seven inch lights. Cibie driving lights off the inside bulbs but on
a separate switch located on the ski S3 ski slope. I do not have lights in the bumpers for DRL's.

I picked up a micro switch to install at the gear selector. This will allow the DRLs to function only when the gear selector is in "D"
I am yet to decide whether I will install the switch at the center console or at the transmission switch under the car.
Either way some bracketry is needed.
