can anyone tell me where if the trunk light fuse is inline and if it is where i may be able to locate it???

light used to work and i just noticed it has gone KAPUT. i dont have my haynes manuel in front of me and you guys are much more valuable than any manuel.

 

It's on the same fuse as your map light and interior pillar lights. If those are working, the fuse is OK. But, anyhow, it's one of the fuse in the left side under-dash fuse box....can't remember the exact number

Have you checked the wiring at the trunk light switch?

I haven't got this far into my survey of what is an isn't working on my car, but does the Ser II have a trunk light as well? It would be nice.

 

my map and interiors both work. where is that switch located???or am i looking at the wiring connected to the light itself ?

 

Problem solved..i think. I unscrewed the light and cleaned all the connections etc. That wasn't the issue. I found that the one of the wires have a weak connection to the button/switch. The wired are soldered in and one is pretty loose. I used some electrical tape for now but will fix the right way during the week.
