My fob isn’t working, I don’t have but only the green valet key. Trunk is locked. How can I deactivate the valet in order to open the trunk on a 1997 XJ6 Jaguar?

Welcome to the forum.

Being a 1997 build, you most likely have an X300 'XJ6', not a Series 3 XJ6 in which part of the forum you have posted.

Re post in the relevant section and someone should be able to help you, as we here prefer older pre fob dinosaurs.

Your 1997 XJ6, is known as an X300.

That Tech Section is further down the Home page.

The Series cars, in here, do not have a Valet option, much simpler time in motoring.

There is a way, but I forget, and the members in that section will quickly sort you out.
