looking into the possibility of converting my two tank system to a single tank. Dimensions of the platform area behind the rear seat is 41x14x14. Has anyone tried this? Will the early xj40 tank with the external fuel pump work? I do not know what the dimensions are. Trying to save having to spend 700 bucks for two saddlebag tanks. I have checked out a 87 S10 tank with the correct dimensions but looking at the issues with the compatibility of the GM sender and Jaguar fuel gauge. Any ideas are welcome.
