WANTED Seat Covers LDY
Hi All!
I'm looking for some front seat bottom cushion leather covers for my 1986 XJ12 Vanden Plas. Needing Saville Grey (LDY). I would prefer NOS if possible or good condition used. Anyone know of someone who is breaking a Series 3 XJ6 or 12. Any ideas of where I could find a good replacement is appreciated!! Thanks!

strange, they normally respond.
Try BAS Original Jaguar Interiors, but I do know BAS takes forever to respond.

Hi Greg!
Thanks! I have reached out to SNG Barratt several times. Aldridge products are available exclusively through them in the U.S. They are not responding either.

SNG Barratt not replying either?

I would get on the blower to Aldridge and see if they will send them to you directly. Most annoying though, when firms do not respond to enquiries.

Also, Jose, Welsh Enterprises suggested Muncie as well. Happily, they were willing to oblige, and I have samples on the way to me!
Thanks for all your help!!

Yes, it is. Living in the U.S., people here expect a certain level of customer service. However, being French, I am used to the other spectrum of customer service; that being, none. It seems anymore, you have to beg someone to take your order or inquiries here.
Off topic but this reminds me of our first trip to Paris. There was a shop half a block from where we were staying that had something in the window my wife wanted to purchase. Their sign said “Ouvrir (Open) 10:00 - 4:00”. We must have walked past that shop at least twice a day for six days and it never was open. We decided their sign should have read “Open 10:00 - 4:00 - Maybe”.

SNG finally told me this morning that Alderidge is not interested. I reached out to SNG almost a week ago for a quote. I was patient and waited a few days....nothing. I called, and Jeremy said he would reach out to Alderidge again....nothing. I finally got a hold of him this a.m. It seems people don't want/need business anymore.

Ken, I can beat that. Buenos Aires Jaguar dealership (several years) had a sign on the showroom door stating that it was open only on Saturdays, and by appointment. I saw only one Jaguar in BA and that was in the driveway of an embassy residence.
Argentina is a superb source for classic Mercedes Benz.
