Default Water on driver’s floor.

Hello,

Lately I’ve been having an issue where my mats on the driver’s side will soak up whenever I use the AC.
The amount of water seems to be quite significant as it leaks to the back seat floor as well. On the passenger side it’s dry.
I was not able to lift the car to take a better look yet but I tried looking under it and couldn’t find anythng that resembles a drain.

I was wondering if it could definitely be the A/C drain or something else. A little puddle starts forming next to the gas pedal as seen in the attached picture (no puddle, just wet area and rusty gas pedal base)

Also, anything that could be done from home or I will definitely have to jack up the car?

Thank you.

If it's water as you say, and not coolant, than it's AC condensation. Check to see that the small rubber drain tube are clear. For that you'll need to get under the car.
I'd bet the tube is plugged and the drain pan is overflowing.

I can tell you from my own personal experience, you need to resolve that water problem ASAP! Otherwise you'll have this problem first:

Your gas pedal bracket will completely rust through the floor, requiring the possible replacement of the entire floor pan.

You want to avoid that if at all possible.

Your drains may be "hidden" from your sight. Some say there are visible tubes extending from the tunnel but mine are almost non-existent. Of course, given the level of abuse this car suffered in the past I wouldn't be surprised if they were broken off when driven over a Rock.
Look here for drains:

To see if they're clear or plugged, **GENTLY** poke a wire up the offending tube.
I say Gently (you'll know if you've hit a blockage of the core) because, if you puncture your evaporator you're in for a Lot of fun.

So I ended up finding it and poking gently with a bamboo stick. Had to go all the way up and once I reached the end of the drain, a bunch of water leaked.

I couldn’t jack up the car so I just used my phone camera to make videos of under the car and decided to feel around under the car with my hand. Ended up finding the damn drain tube. It’s actually longer than in the picture but poking it helped. Gotta test further though. Hopefully that was it and it will not leak inside the car anymore.
