What years for front fenders 73 XJ6
I have seen fenders advertised on ebay saying 1968-1978 are the same - I believe the fenders might fit, but wouldn't the parking lights be different on a series 2 car ? I recently had a front tire blow and it was so violent it plumped the fender ! I've been working on straightening it, but I don't have the talent to make it right and hopefully a fender will come along one of these days. Anyway, I would love some input on this topic.
Thanks,
Jim

The series 2 from 1974 will bolt on but like you say they have a different park and indicator light which is below the bumper where as the series one is above the bumper the series 2 also has a slightly larger flare on the wheel arch. But it is not to difficult to fill in the hole from S/2 and cut S/1 hole as series one fenders in good condition are getting hard to find a series 2 might be best opption if you dont mind the different flare size. no one would know unless you told them
