Default What's the Brown/red wire on the Drivers side of Motor compartment????

OK, so I didn't label ALL the wires when I removed everything... and now I have extras. HELP! Per the title, what is the brown with red stripe wire that comes from under/around the brake booster, mounts to the inner fender with an inline fuse, and extends long enough to reach the pass side of the engine? I've had trouble locating the temp sender wire, which I've heard is green... but it isn't working. This brown/red wire seems to reach the temp sender easily, but has a bullet connector on the end. It is not hot with the key. My factory wiring diagram is total crap, only puts wire colors on some of the wires...

Could the red be purple?

This may not help at all but Series III cars have a brown/purple wire with an inline fuse in the engine bay. It goes to the horn relay.

Cheers
