Ideas:
1. Clean and dye what you have.
2. Visit the "junk yard" for a better one from a similar car.
3. Check E Bay or Craigs list.
4. Take one as a sample to your local auto upholstery shop and see what they can do and for how many $'s.
5. Shop for material, cut it to fit using the existing as a pattern, Get the shop to edge it.

Since my interior has been modified, no tunnels under the front seats, plus the installation of "real" comfortable front
seats from a PT Cruiser, I needed custom carpeting.
He did a great job and even finished up the trunk to look nice! In the photo the carpet on the floor is not
tucked in nice on the sides.. my fault - not his - I did not want edging put on this piece of carpeting.

Depending on the wear in the carpet, I would try deep cleaning ( you can take the mats out and clean with a pressure washer for best results or use something like G101 ) and re dyeing/ spaying it first to see what it comes out like. May surprise you.

I second the deep clean and re-dye. I've done so quite successfully in other applications. I did it with Ritdye and water in a spray bottle. Probably better dyes out there, but it held up really well. Keep us posted!!
Dyeing the carpet was a thought. I definitely need new floor mats. I have looked on the web but coming up empty on them. I'd like the new floor mats to have the Jaguar logo, a leaper, or at least XJ6 logo embroidered on. I looked into Lloyds Mats but the mentioned logos are not available

I've struggled on floor mats as well. Nothing with a good logo, heel pad, etc. The colors I've found aren't the best either.
I've actually thought of going to a carpet remnant place, finding something I like and having it bound.
If anyone has good ideas on this front please share!!

Try this
https://www.bondproducts.com/instabi...-binding-tape/
looks like good idea.
I was toying with this until I found an old but unused set of carpets on ebay for an XJC which are currently en-route to me.
May still make some disposable overmats though.

They must be real old school, no pricing info on website. There's a form to send an email after hours, and it says expect 3 days for a response!
I don't suppose you recall the pricing?
The edging on my mats have come undone, i reckon its time for a new set
Wasn't there some Paul's Jag or someplace like that that had bought original rolls or carpet?
