Question Where's Jag-Lovers??

At first I thought my my browser was at fault as I kept getting Page Load Error, but Chrome on my new tablet won't even pick it up.

Just to make Double sure, I tried getting there on husband's W7-Firefox machine and got the same error.

What's happened to Jag-Lovers, and the Decades of knowledge archived on their servers?

Well, I may have to bid them See Ya too, because they simply will Not allow me to log in or even send them money!

You'd think they would at least take my money!!
Thanks, Guys...

It was a Cookie thing, Carl,
Husband has his computer set up to reject ALL cookies (and wonders why so many sites refuse to talk to him).

My tablet recently got a software "upgrade" that messed with all my previous settings. I had to get my phone and go through Everything, one by one until I found the setting I missed.

I *HATE* this tablet!! It was a cheapo come-one Verizon offered a couple years ago, Ellipsis 8 (a Real PO$), that seemed like a good idea at the time (how many of those have risen up later to bite me...), and I thought might be a good idea for traveling, as maps are big enough to see where I really am. It's been back to the factory THREE TIMES, now is out of warranty. That means the Next time it tanks, I'll sail it across the parking lot into a brick wall, which I can do, because Finally the Iron-Clad 2 year contract is expired.

Re; Jag-Lovers.
It might be newer, Carl, and it's easier to post pictures, but Still, so much takes place in private emails, that most viewers don't see the answers! Like it's all a big SECRET! I've been left wondering about Many answers to questions someone else asked. I didn't like that about it in the beginning and I still don't. I only go there infrequently now in case someone asks a question I actually know the answer to, which I post PUBLICLY.

This is a Much superior place to learn, ask questions, get answers, exchange information, and just plain hang out.

Gee, Elinor, sorry about all that grief. Just seems a part of new tech stuff !!

I had an issue with my old tech cell phone. Ancient, so I bought another. Similar in looks and function to my old one. More like dumb than smart.

Well, I goofed. Thought it was charging while I slept!! Nope. Flat battery, Back on the charger. Still zip. ATT said. we only sell the service ??? You gotta got t the maker for warranty !!! Found them .
Tech support weak. Send it in!!!! No, I need it....

Son came over. fiddled with it a bit. An on/off series and it came to life.

Why did the tech not see that " Or me ? Basic computer tech, reboot !!!

Verizon and I do not talk!!

Carl

Was with Jag Lovers for some time but there are TOO many negative attitudes so I jumped ship to here. I still access for information but no longer post. Your right everything over there is a BIG secret. Much better here. Still some attitudes here but a little spunky-ness is good... No? Of the 3 forums I frequent this is by far the best!

I speak Fluent Attitude!
How does one get anything done without a measure of Attitude??!

Spunkiness? That's part of what makes this place what it is!
We can joke around and no one gets their shorts on a wad. If they do, they know they're Vastly outnumbered by those of us who drive our Jaguars because it's FUN!!

Yup!!

1. As to J-L. Yup, the PUB can very negative. But, over all it is also informative, And, yeah, I still like to spar with opposition!!!

OTH, I also visit the lump, XJ, XJS and event the E type. Far more "peaceful" and much to share.

True, some stuff goes PM. As I see it not as a secret, but for convenience in sharing attachments. J.F does that as well, albeit not as often, for sure.

Elinor: the third Jaguar forum? I'd like to look there as well.

Jose: For sure, do as you see fit.

Darren:

Come on over !! Sign up anew. Or seek help there, from the site owner. I found similar issues that I had trouble with. Resolved. New ID, current e mail. I am in business.....
