I have just received a 1997 XJ6, and have been working on fixing it up. The wiper function is tricking me up. The (D) drive mode (activated by pushing down) works, but this is insufficient for the amount of rain in my area. The spray and wipe function also works. Where as the 1) single wipe function 2) slow speed 3) fast speed all do not work. The air/bolt doesn’t turn. Please help! Thankyou

Post your question in the X300 forum section for better help.

but XJ-6 since 1968 have very slow lazy lame wipers. The problem you have is most likely the Switch, typical for all XJ.
