Is anything else inoperative?

Power to Fuse 6 comes from the load relay. The load relay also powers-up a few other circuits connected to Fuse 5.

If Fuse 5 is also powerless, the load relay might be a prime suspect!

Cheers

Never mind, found a copy saved in my jag folder I. Email!! Load relay was bad! All sorted!! One thing I did figure out though, was that slow wipers are better than no wipers!!!!!

For anyone that doesn’t have the s57, download it now( I believe Jose has it on his website) it’s invaluable!! Saved me hours of fumbling, figured out my issue in less than 10 minutes!

Darren,
I modified my wipers during the rebuild and I have zero problems. The car wasn't running when I bought it so I don't know what they were like from the factory, but I read posts lamenting how slow they were. Mine are instant on and operate at a perfect speed (for me) with no hesitations. It's a fiddly job, but not overly difficult.
