Default wiring and fuses

During the course of cleaning up the engine bay wiring on my converted Jag ,..I found myself at a loss as to what size fuse to use to protect any given circuit. Found this article, easy to understand - for those interested.

Thanks, Alyn:

A great writeup Although most was familiar to me, I did lear a thig or two and confirmed some of wat I merely suspected.

The after market harness I bought for my conversion included two "fusible links".. Because of fuzzy instructions, I "blew" one. I soldered in another. Were this to occur today, I'd use a properly sized blade fusel Only I and the harness maker know where those links are!!!!

Glad you found something

The S57 wiring diagrams are also very detailed in regard to fuse locations and ratings.
