would a '90 hood emblem fit an '85?

Default would a '90 hood emblem fit an '85?
we had a 1990 xj6 come into the shop today and i noticed the hood emblem is like twice as big as the one on my 85 xj6 i was wondering if i found the bigger hood emblem would it fit right on my 85?
