xj 5.3 timing chain

xj 5.3 timing chain
new to site working on xjs 5.3 v12. noise in timing cover ( rattle ) still running. looking for pic of chain set up,tensions.I have no repair manual on this car,

Welcome to the real world.
The V12 timing chain arrangement is shown in the attached drawing from my parts book.
It is NOT a task for the feint hearted. LOTS, and LOTS of bits need removing, and some more just for access, then dealing with #29 (the plastic tensioner), which by the sounds of your post is already broken, is fun, NOT.
I have done this job in situ twice, not a pleasant job. I will not do that again, maybe too old, but there are just so many things that can go wrong.
