Hey guys sorry for a dumb question but I’ve been searching this forum for hours and can’t seem to find the location of the ecm on a 1978 xj6l, I have found testing information, pin information but no location.
any help would be appreciated! Thanks in advance

 

On Series IIIs....and I suspect on your Series II as well.....it's mounted on the forward wall of the trunk, RH side. There's a trim panel you remove to access it.

Thanks Dave, found it and replaced it now I got spark but no injector pulse…. Side note I inherited this from my wife’s uncle and at some point someone put a crane ignition fireball on it so I’m chasing other peoples mistakes
