Hi , wondering if anyone has a spare water bottle that i can buy and cover the potage for please ?

It's the square type that mounts on the battery mounting bracket.

Hi John, I can't help you but I have added a couple of pics so if anyone can they know exactly what you are after.
Is the bottle like the one on the red car in the first pic?
The second car(silver) is my series 1 and the bottle is right down the front near the radiator.

Not sure which is correct for a series 1.



EDIT, just looking at my parts book there is a 1st type and 2nd type of washer bottle so your car must be an earlier one. Your expansion tank will be further forward than mine. I assume on the later series 1 cars the expansion tank was moveved further back so it is higher and a smaller washer bottle and bracket fitted between the expansion tank and the radiator.

Both bottles and the later bracket are available on ebay.

Thank you both for the quick responses.

I can confirm its the same location as the one in the "red" photo, however the difference is that mine has the large screw type lid instead of a cap, as shown in the drawing below.

I'll try those leads and see how I go.
