Hey everyone! My 89 XJ6 is in the shop and me and the mechanic cannot pinpoint the exact torque converter for the car. It has a ZHhp22 Trans and its the inline V6. Any help would be much appreciated. Ive put a pic of what the old one looks like. (the people we sent it to to get rebuilt lost it)
It will be once spec'ed by ZF (not ZH) Your car is what's known by the factory code of XJ40, which is quite different from the older cars discussed here. I expect you'll have to go to a wrecker and get a core to rebuild. Shouldn't the company that lost it replace it?
