Default XJ6 Wheels. Take a look.

JAGUAR XJ6 1996-97 OE WHEELS 16" PN# MMD6113CA.

Does anyone know if these will fit a Series 3 1985 XJ6?

Thanks!

I think the back a will but the fronts may need spacers for the hubs.

Oh, yeah. Check LnrB's travails with a similar set.

Spacers are a rather poor solution. The hubs on these cars have a shoulder. the wheel center should fit snugly onto that shoulder. Thusly it not only locates the wheel radialy, but supports load!!! The dust cap may prevent the use of the wheel caps or not even fit into the opening. I've heard of omitting the dust caps. Wowee, ground up outter bearings???

And spacers may not allow adequate thread engagement of the lug nuts.

Do so more research and do some measurements.

Those are attractive wheels, though and the 16"s' make more tire choices available.

Yes. As Carl mentions, see this thread:
https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/x...-125023/page2/

#36 where you can see how to measure your hub for dust cap clearance and #39 to see possible modifications to the rims.

If I didn't like my Tear Drop rims so much I would never gone through this much drama.

Default 16 inch wheels

I put a set of 16 inch wheels from the same year Jaguar ( 1996) Not the same wheels but from the same year - on my 86 XJ6... Perfect . Running 225 60 16 BF Goodrich tires. No problems... Mounted the tires on the wheels mounted the wheels on the car, drove the car ... been great.
