Ok so my glove box lock was broken when I bought the car and I was using magnets to hold it closed, but I couldn’t get it to completely close with them. I had contemplated a few things but let’s face it, the best thing would be an actual latch. I started looking around and found a push to unlock and lock with key latch on Amazon for $10. I tried measuring to compare, but I didn’t take out my old one to get real measurements. It looked close, so I thought why not! Needless to say I just tried it and it was noticably bigger. Oops! Slight opening of the hole, slight rounding of the plastic nut that came with it and two 1" o-rings behind the seating face and it works! Now I just need new wood trim! Woooooo hooooooo!
