I recently opened my glove box and now it won't lock again. I tested it manually by pushing down on the mechanism when it's open and that locks, but obviously then it won't go back up properly. The latch releases it accordingly as if I were opening it. Long story short, is there any quick fix for this or dealer recommended?

 

If its like mine, someone hit the outer door too hard and broke the plastic that the lock bolts to, and now the screw holes are toast.

Looking for a new glovebox right now.
