‘94 AJ6 How many O2 sensors do I have?
Hello!
I have a ‘94 4.0 AJ6. I can only find one oxygen sensor, but my parts supplier says my car has two. Can someone please tell me if I have one or two and where they are?
Thank you

You have two.
I don't have your engine, so I don't know how to best describe its location...but it cant be far...
You should have two exhaust pipes. You have found one, find the other, which should be close by.

I think the number of O2 sensors was chassis number related I don't have a 4.0 but was curious
Expand item 2 - the rear seems to be only valid from VIN195696

It is included by the statements like To VIN195695 - so any number below 195695.
If you consider your number the rear O2 sensor states From VIN195696 which indicates to me at least that the car didn't get four until VIN195696
I did poke around lookijng for the emission classes such as A, C - E but couldn't find anything in the brief delve that I did - others may know - but the part number for the front O2 looks to be the same regardless (DBC10862)

Jaguar Classic Parts have updated that page quite badly, as it really doesn't cover any 4 litre cars that are AJ6 engines (VIN 179737 to 194774) unless you select "Optional in Germany", which is not very intuitive.
I think the AJ6 engine does use the DAC4607, whereas the AJ16 (VIN 194775 onwards) uses the later Titania sensor.
I'll write to my contact at Jaguar and see if we can get the parts website updated to be clearer.
