16” 8j rims
There is a set of 16 inch TWRs on the dock of the bay for 400 quid.
16x8 will fit but you need different offset front and rear.
Rear offset +33
Front offset +20 TWR used +19
Rear offset +33
Front offset +20 TWR used +19

Offset is to do with how far the mating surface of the wheel/hub is from the edge of the wheel. It's probably best to look at something like this to explain: https://www.tsw.com/explore-tsw-cust...eel-offset.php
I FITTED 7" front and 8" rears lattice some time back they are RW MACHO
better quality that the fondmetal versions imo both have 22 written after the size markings

Where did you get them from? Did you have to buy two sets? If so have you a set left over lol
I don't know the answer to your specific question, but if you go to this site you can enter the details of your current wheels and the spec of whatever you are proposing to fit, and you can see how it will sit differently and whether you need spacers or will have problems with rubbing, etc. https://www.willtheyfit.com/
Thanks for the link. I put in tyre sizes as best I could and it said the outer rim will be plus 1mm which i# neither here nor there, th3 inner it said would increase 39 mm. Didn’t know this would b3 so difficult. Might just leave th3 15 s on.
I bought them in the 90s from an ad in jaguar world, just a full set of 4, I have a space saver as a spare but that will only be suitable for the front as its slightly bigger diam. than the rears.

No, offset is the distance from the wheel mating surface to the centre line of the wheel.
Decreasing offset moves the wheel out.
I have a set of 16x8 BBS with 245-50/16 and are XJ40 fitment +33 offset. The rears fit without modification but the front needed to be spaced 13mm out or the inside of the rim will interfere with the suspension.
Would you explain this a bit more please.
just got a reply from a new wheel supplier who doesn't list xjs on the choices list, and I forgot about this, that the centre caps wont stay put if flat on the wheel as the rear stick out and the front stick out even more, that's probably another reason you will need spacers.

Hello, I think we don't have it listed on the website as the wheel centre is the problem. From memory i think the they have long drive shafts which pop the caps out. The wheels need to have raised caps to allow for the clearance & most new wheels have flat caps."
