1985 XJS Jaguar Excessive Fuel
I am in the process of restoring a 1985 Jaguar XJS 12 cylinder. My inital problem was no fuel was reaching the fuel rail. The car had been setting for 2 plus years.
I installed a new fuel pump and turned the ignition on. After a short period of time fuel was observed coming out of the driver side intake manifold. My guess is there is one or more failed fuel injectors that is allowing the fuel to flow straight through the injector. I would appreciate any adivice on how to check the injectors and or any other ideas that could be causing this problem.
I would also appreciate any advice on where I could send the complete fuel rail and injectors to for repair.
