If its the cabriolet version the coupe doors are the same. If you have a true convertible the coupe door would more then likely fit also if you remove the framework around the door glass, its also possible the door glass itself would need to be removed from the convertible door and installed in the coupe door after removing the framework. That's a lot of work but if convertible doors are that scarce a viable solution to the problem.

Thanks
Team - Thanks Supercharged - will definitely check out the FL connection.
Wayne, Yes the car is a 'targa' type with panels over head driver and passenger and rag or hardtop back. Are you saying that a 1989 XJS convertible door would likely fit? Alternatively, would a hardtop car's door in that same year work? My car has the dual headlights - not sure if that helps in determining anything.
Thanks Again....

No the coupe door is not the same as the convertible door however the coupe door could be made to fit the convertible by removing the framework that is around the glass, it might and probably would be necessary to install the glass from the convertible door into the coupe door after removing the framework.
A lot of work but if convertible doors are that scarce then the work in the above paragraph would be worth it for making a coupe door fit a convertible.
Back to your question the hardtop coupe and the cabriolet doors should be the same until the facelift version came along.
Hope that helps and not confusing.
