Default 1989 XJS ABS..no fluid to LF from master cyl

So I threw up a post a bit ago about this issue...three wheels have brakes. LF does not. I am just getting back on it.

If I disconnect the hardline at the master cylinder there is no fluid coming out. Any ideas on diagnosis? I don't want to buy a used master/abs unit just to install and find it is the computer, or vice versa. Seems more likely that a soleniod is being told to stay closed. I searched for a pinout of the ABS connector but came up empty.

See the post from another thread below. The Hydraulic Valve Block could easily explain your trouble as well.

Default XJS brakes

Sorry to hear you to are having problems with the hydraulics on your car. I think I was lucky to solve mine. I got away with flushing the brakes several times on the the calipers I could bleed. Eventually I got fluid out of the left front. Also disconnect hose at hard line to check for pressure. Hose could be bad. The system appears to be very sensitive to dirt. Also drive at least several times a month, getting car up to running temperature. If I don't drive mine every month it will pull to one side when braking. Good luck.
