1991 Coupe Classic Collection For Sale
OK anybody that is interested, my 91 Classic Collection Coupe is for sale. Putting it on Craigslist for $6,000.00, if anyone on this forum wants it, I have 4,800.00 in it (not counting time), you can have it for that. Bought it from same estate my convertible came from and just recently got around to giving it a thorough going over for "issues", thought it needed a tune up....needed rotor and cap is all (after all, it is Marelli). Runs out great, has new brakes and fluid renewed. -0- rust. Needs a controller for the power locks (used a known good controller to test, worked fine). A/C works now, having a bit of an issue with the thermostat. Cruise control "wants" to work, but alas, it doesn't (I suspect vacuum here). There are a few pics posted. Fuel gauge does not work (registers a little, but not correctly) , not the sender, so maybe a ground. Holds 20lb Oil at idle, 50 at cruise speed. Runs just a little under N temperature wise, has plenty of power too. Interior is in very good condition, leather is still very supple. Has new tires on it. Front suspension is OK, rear struts are OK for most people, but I would replace if I were keeping it. Exhaust is probably good for awhile, but is original exhaust. Windows work good. No water leaks as far as I can tell in interior. Bottom of engine/tranny were damp, changed the oil and discovered the drain plug was only finger tight. No drips since tightening. Accumulator tank was removed and repaired, had rusted out from debris being trapped under bottom in a pea sized place. One injector lead is cracked, but injector works fine. Passed NC inspection and is drivable, now legal to drive and has another 100 or so on it. It is currently in North Carolina and is a South Carolina car. 133,000 miles. If you are interested, let me know.

OK. Coupe now has new brakes/fluid (DOT 4). Has passed North Carolina inspection and is being driven fairly regularly. Runs out awesome! Will remove fuel sender this weekend to attempt to determine why fuel gauge doesn't work. Price went up $4,736.00 can have the car. Will go up again as I continue to solve the few "issues" with the car. Really surprised how strong the engine runs. Runs better than my 92 and it has half the miles on it...go figure.
