Default 1992 Fuel Presure Regulator Needed

Figured out where my fuel smell from under the hood after a shut down is coming from. The fuel regulator is leaking through the membrane into the vacuum line where it eventually makes it back into the intake. Have not been able to find the correct model and Jaguar has listed it as discontinued. Aftermarket only lists the threaded style regulator for the XJS. Any idea what else would fit? Looks like Bosch regulator from the same vintage Mercedes could work, but have not yet confirmed it. Mine is a 92 transition model.

There should be a Bosch number on the regulator. Have you tried searching for it under that number?

Cheers

Try Leroy Sorrell in Jax, FL. Classic Car Garage. email: parts@classiccargarage.net. I know him personally. He deals in XJS only. Has assisted me more than a few times finding NLA parts. Mention my name: Mert

Holly makes an adjustable regulator in the right range. It’s of good but not excellent quality and reasonable at $50. I’ll dig up a part number if anyone wants. You’d also need to buy a gauge for it, but you’ll have another lever to pull if you want to adjust your pressure off-spec.

Conclusion:
Thanks to all who provided advice. I did find a NOS regulator on the German Ebay Marketplace. It did fix the hard cold start and lack of speedy acceleration.
