Default V12 oil presure

Looked everywhere online and in my manuals (and this site) to find out the ranges of acceptable oil pressure..Have a 71 V-12 with about 3000 miles on a rebuild about 18 years ago and it is carrying about 80 pounds cold..have not brought it up to temp because of a bad fuel pump...OK or bad?? thanks

My V12 is newer (xjs) and when the engine is cold my oil pressure is about 75, but as it warms up it drops down to about half that.

FWIW, my V12 had about 60psi cold as I recall.

When warm I wanna say it was more like 45-50psi off-idle.

At idle speed when warm it would drop wayyyy down to about 5psi or so....which is typical for a V12.

Cheers

At the risk of getting my wrists slapped, I'd suggest posting your questions on the E-Type forum here:
JagFORUM - the world's No 1 online club for Jaguar enthusiasts

There's a lot more E-Type technical expertise to be found there.

When you go "over there", I would suggest posting on the E-Type Forum rather than the V-12 Engine Forum. Many more eyes looking at the former, not so many at the latter.
