This is my last effort to solve an 3 week problem with the climate control panel which has the ac on, recirculating, demist and manual buttons on my 94 XJS. These buttons do not work (or light) when pressed. The fan switch and temperature switch below these buttons work fine. I do have power coming to the computer board in which the panel plugs into. On the computer board, the purple wire is constant power;the green wire is ignition on. I checked the ohms (and have power) coming out of the board and where the climate panel plugs into the board. Still nothing with the "buttons". I hate like heck to take it to the dealer, but I have run out of ideas. Is it possible the climate board (with the buttons) is bad? I have never heard of a problem with the panel. If so, would anyone have an extra one I could use as a test? Any input appreciated!
