Default 1994 XJS Convertible Drivers Window

Hi all,
I recently acquired my 1994 4.0L convertible XJS and the drivers window stopped functioning (lucky for me in the up position)

I cant find any associated fuse in the diagrams... it just rained for the first time last night which might have something to do with this... any idea for a fix?

This is my first post here so thanks so anything

Cregan,

Start with the switch. Nearly always the problem. Wiggle the rocker a little bit carefully and see if that resolve sit.. If not, you need to disconnect the wire plug and try swapping it with the passenger switch. You'll need to lift the skislope. Don't try and remove the switch from the bezel from the top. You'll break the plastic tangs,

Paul

Its the curved wood piece where your gear selector, lighter, ashtrays and cruise control and window switches all sit.
