Hello, yesterday returning home I noticed a slight
stumble in the car,I came to a stop sign and the car
started stumbling. I drove another half mile and it got
worse to the point the car would not move. It will barely
start and not rev up. Seems to be fuel related. Tried
opening the fuel door ,no help.$250 tow home. No code light
came on. Any help on where to start? I am guessing fuel
pump , filter. 1996 XJS 4 litre. Thanks, Jeff

 

Found the hose between the intake elbow and the air cleaner had come loose! Cheap fix! Jeff

 

Not that cheap at $250 for a tow but at least you sorted it.
