Default 83 XJS Coupe. Need help with lock rod grommets.

This forum has saved my life and sanity many times. I need help. The driver's door handle rod had the grommet it fits into fail. Does anyone know of a solution?

Can you post a photo or diagram, i do not know which grommet you mean?

Its number 11 in this picture. The rod goes in a grommet to keep it from moving. I need a substitute because I can't find any factory ones. Ignore the text up top it was part of the picture

Which part(s) do you need, 9, 10, or 11?
It's not clear from your post.
More than Likely I have them all.
I had a door from an 85 and a 94 which were gutted before disposal.
More than likely what you are lneed are not grommets but locking clips.
If what you need are any of the connecting rods please include length.

So where is the grommet? On which end of the rod? If you mean on the top of the rod to hold it into the lever on the handle, i think you need a star1lock-washer, which you can buy at any hardwear store. This sort of thing

hi , I want 8,9,10,11 out of this where’s the best place to get them
