Default Suggestions to best sell a 1990 XJS

Hi Guys,

I have a 1990 XJS coupe with 33K miles and it is in just about perfect original condition. I have had it for 5 years and am the second owner. What would you suggest be the best way to market my Jaguar? Do I run local ads or would you suggest anything online? I'm only selling because the car only gets driven 1K miles during the Summer and I just have to many vehicles. Please let me know your ideas. Thanks for your help.

Best prices seem to go on Bring A Trailer... I'd look into that.

Just a couple notes on Bringatrailer... don’t even think of trying to sell it there without excellent pictures, including the underside on a lift. The cars that make the most money have 1) the best photography, 2) the best color (good luck with beige), 3) active seller participation in the comments. That said they sell what seems to be an XJS a week and almost always over $10k.

Thanks for every ones input.

My 1990 XJS is Solent Blue not beige and the undercarriage is as clean as a 28 year old car can be. The car was originally purchased in North Carolina and was garaged and stayed there its entire life, until I purchased it through a close friend that is a classic car broker(he found it for me). Thanks again for the suggestions and I may give "Bring a Trailer" a shot...

Other than posting on a jaguar xjs forum, I'd say bring a trailer

Let us know when/if it gets on BAT. Then we can all make amazingly positive comments to help drive the price up....
"Yes, 1990 is definitely the best year for the XJ-S, and that colour actually contains a compound that prevents all rust. Also, cars from Wisconsin are often converted to run on milk, helping save the environment."

That looks in good shape.
I think the front and rear bumper shock, or mounts, were different for the body kit cars.
I once sold a body kit, and the fellow came back for the shocks, saying the originals would not work. Certainly the rears were TWR specific, you could tell right away.
