So the AC system was rebuilt by the previous owner. It stopped blowing cold a few months ago,so today I hook up a guage to the low port to see what the pressure is,it was in the red at 100psi alarmed I tried another guage same thing. Here's the kicker some of the freon hissed out and it was warm.It was pressured like freon. Ive never seen anything like this. It was converted to 134a. Anybody know what the deal is?

 

When it was at 100 psi, was the compressor running and the clutch engaged? 100 psi isn't that far off the system pressure when it isn't running and everything has equalized.

Since you have freon pressure, the next step is to check that the clutch is engaging when you turn on the climate control.
