I agree with Doug.
You mentioned "aircleaners", as in plural????.
That is basically impossible in my opinion as well.
The vac hose from the trans modulator is to the rear of the RH inlet manifold, and I reckon it could not suck enough oil up there to allow it to run out of the inlet manifold, AND still have the engine running, waaaaaay too much oil for any internal combustion engine.
You may have K&N style air filter elements, that require oiling, and that may be the oil you are finding. Stabbing in the dark here.
I would remove both air filter elements, maybe fit 2 new elements, and clean all the covers, and bases, and reassemble. Then monitor it in a few days time.

its only the air cleaner on the passenger side and i cleaned it all out and yes it is coming out of the Throttle body I beleive its called air flapper hole. I also pulled the vacuum line at the tranny to see what was going on there and it drained fluid out of the hose. My next question is this a th400 tranny and if so can i just use a chevy vac modulator or do i need to get a jaguar vac modulator.
The car doesnt seem to smoke at all but it has drained tranny fluid down the side of the engine and frame rail

I tried to use a vacuum modulator that was for GM cars with no luck. I even purchased the adjustable one and still couldn't get the proper shift points that Jaguar had. When I went with the oem Jaguar modulator, the shift points were correct and it performed like Jaguar originally intended. With the over the counter modulator, the shift was not even close as original. I have heard others say they had luck with the adjustable one, but I did not.
