Default 88 Convertible fluid fill

I have a 1988 XJS with no fluid in the H&E top pump. Found the connection that was leaking and fixed that but don't know where to find the tank to fill it. Can anyone tell me where it is and what fluid should I use. Thanks

I assume you looked over here:

Refilled mine about six or seven years ago after the hose sprung a leak... can't remember if I used a hydraulic fluid or transmission fluid.

Sorry I realize that isn't much help... call a convertible specialist in the area? My recollection is there isn't much fluid in there...

Cheers,

- Will
