88xjs
Help help help
Hey guys I'm new to the site. I'll be looking at a 88xjs this weekend. 46k is the advertised mileage. I've been a BMW guy for 30 yrs so this is my first foray into Jaguars. I'm a jet mechanic so I have mechanical skills. I've done some research but would like to hear from XJS owners
Any thing outside the obvious I should be looking for?? I'm happy to pay you for your time.
It's a v12 which I've heard pretty good things about. I've looked at a lot of jag parts and none of them seem crazy expensive. What am I missing??
Thanks in advance

A well sorted XJS is a fabulous car. Quirky, but fabulous. I had one for several years. Since you have good mechanical skills this is right up your alley....since virtually every used XJS, even the really good ones, needs sorting out to one degree or another .
In one of the sticky threads at the top of this section is a buyers guide that might interest you. I suggest starting there....it'll only take a few minutes....and coming back with any specific questions.
