Default 89.5 XJS V12: rear brakes & AC compressor

I have to say that my kitty has been a reliable daily driver since I bought her. Totally different experience from my first XJS years ago (also an 89.5).

Time for some maintenance... it sounds as though the rear brakes are not fully releasing. What should I expect to pay for a complete rear brake service? Any place in Houston you guys would recommend?

The AC compressor is leaking. Any recommendations on a vendor, and how much I should be paying for this? Shop recommendation for AC work also welcome.

Thanks!

You could do the rear brakes yourself, though if you have the extra money I would get someone to do it.

Before I did my rear brakes i remember reading that for most people it ran between 600-1200 not sure if that included parts.

I rebuilt my rear calipers and replaced regular and handbrake pads for a total of like $95 or something.
I don't remember how good it turned out but i mostly wrote it all up. most of its on the second page.

If you get a shop to do it definitely get new rotors while you are at it.

no idea on an a/c quote sry
