Also, which wires go to the oil pressure sensor and light? I'm sorry i bought this car, but would like to resurrect it. It has low miles and a good engine. The interior is a mess, no gauges work, windows don't work, but I don't care about that now, as long as it is driveable. I should have gotten the old Corvette.

You need the S57 wiring guide. It will be very helpful. PM your email address and I can send it to you.

An older Corvette would be a lot easier as far as electrics go, yes. A similar vintage....1985.....not so much

Search the archives on bring the gauges back to life. Tons of info; not that hard. Usually just a matter of removing the cluster, cleaning all the contacts, and adding an extra ground for good measure.

Cheers

For gauges and windows, my bet would be ALL can be brought back to life.

As for the wires, brother, ya got to be a little more specific. Under the engine bay in an XJS is about the size of Rhode Island, and what I would need to help is if you could at LEAST give the zip code or the area of the engine bay you're finding wires.

I would LOVE to see the twin turbo set up.

The oil sending units and wiring are RIGHT behind the throttle cap stan (wheel with the 2 arms) - in the v12 XJS that is.
