Default 92 XJS Hub Assembly

My 92 XJS 5.3 has been out of commission for a week now due to my wheel bearing freezing up. After a lot of grueling hours I was able to get the hub assembly apart but i've been left with some problems. The threads on the spindle got a little beat up and I stripped the bearing nut. I ordered a new one but it won't go on very easy. I would like to use a tap and die set and redo the threading on the spindle but none of the sets at my local auto stores have large enough dies. Does anyone know what size the spindle is and what size the threads are?

Also wondering if the hub assembly on a 6 cylinder of the same year would fit my car or if there's a difference? I don't know if i damaged the hub at all but if I have, it is hard to find another hub assembly for a reasonable price. I found a used one off an '88. Would that be the same size?

Last, what torque specifications are best for tightening the wheel bearings. I think in the Kirby book it said 20?

Thanks guys
