To All,
Is there a way to tell what the original top color is? I see paint codes, etc. but no top colors.
Is it built into the codes plate located on the door?
Trying to figure out if I have the original top. It's slightly worn but still in great shape.
Thanks

Paul,
You can't tell the hood colour from the paint and trim codes. If you haven't got the original sales invoice then a Jaguar Heritage Build certificate will tell you the original hood colour. In my experience, hood colour tended to be either neutral = black, or body-matched eg blue hood on blue car, or trim-matched eg beige hood if beige seats.

Original Paint is white, original interior is Coffee color leather w/leaper still on the seats. The top looks like its been around for a while with some stitching worn off but still in very good shape.....no rips or tears, etc. Color is what I call Cranberry!!
Thanks
