My 89 5.3 convertible has the older style abs wither the toothed ring on the hub. Can anyone confirm if this has the large washer style water thrower ring or not? I’ve a feeling it doesn’t but not 100%. Much appreciated as always for any assistance.

 

I don't recall seeing a large water thrower. The Series II axle had them and mine didn't. -> 89 model too

 

Thanks . That confirms what I was thinking. Next problem is the oil seal on the inner bearing seems way too big for the hole . Any thoughts on that daim?

 

When I replaced my front wheel bearings and seals I found XJ40 seals fit perfectly. The XJS seals did not fit even though the part number was for 89 with ABS.
